At IBM, I progressed through a series of leadership roles that reflect both technical expertise and strategic vision in AI and analytics. I began as Lead Data Scientist

for the Benelux region,

where I helped design

and deliver mathematically

sound, client-facing solutions

while mentoring junior

colleagues and fostering

collaboration within the

advanced analytics team.

I then stepped into a European

role as Principal Data Scientist,

acting as a bridge between

local and EU markets, with a

focus on AI enablement and

integration across IBM’s

European Data Science

Community. Concurrently, I

served as AI Leader for IBM

Netherlands, representing the

company across national AI

initiatives, shaping IBM’s strategy, and serving as spokesperson and keynote speaker on AI-related topics. This culminated in my role as Practice Lead for Cognitive & Analytics Benelux, where I led the practice with a focus on building the right culture to deliver AI ahead of market demand, attracting and retaining top talent, and driving ethical, sustainable, and long-term intelligent solutions for clients across the region.
